Adam Hosey, the owner of Adam Hosey Photography, is a professional motorsports photographer. He is very passionate about both cars and photography.

He found his passion for photography in high school, when a friend’s dad had a dark room. They would go to Paine Field, and shoot the air shows, then go back to the dark room, where they learned to develop the film.

He started shooting the Unlimited Hydroplane Racing series in 1987. He then shot for the ProFormance Racing School in Kent, WA in 1999 . In 2002, he had the opportunity to travel with Team Seattle to the prestigious Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona as the team photographer. He has photographed local track days SCCA and vintage motorsports.

He also shoots private client photo sessions, has designed collector’s book of private car collections, and produces gallery-quality prints, matting and framing.

Always Searching For The Shot

To Adam Hosey the world is infused with a soft sentiment – A sailboat crossing slowly in front of the setting sun, a cool breeze rustling the leaves of a tree on a warm sunny day or a bone white lighthouse juxtaposed against a brilliant blue sky — these are images that evoke emotions. These are emotions that Adam strives to capture in his photographs.

“I have known Adam for many years and he is a fixture at the track and in the garages of collectors throughout the Puget Sound region. He has taken some great competition shots of me at Pacific Raceways as well as some staged photos of my Porsches.

His framing and formatting is custom for each shot or series and results in a fantastic piece of work to hang on the wall.”

“Adam has the ability to capture wonderful moments with his photography. He seems to find the best spots on the track for catching a wheel up, or other perfect moments and always provides a shot that shows the subject in the best possible way.

The matting and presentation are top notch. His shots were the hit gift at Christmas!”
